BALNEARIO AGUA TIBIA
Historia
A un kilómetro de San Pedro Pinula, se encuentra el Balneario Agua Tibia, la cual es una magnífica área recreativa, a un costado del Río Jalapa, que por su naturaleza es de aguas termales medicinales, pasando junto a él una corriente, por lo que se puede combinar las temperaturas deseadas.
Agua Tibia se encuentra en el kilómetro 123 sobre la ruta que de San Pedro Pinula conduce a San Luis Jilotepeque, siendo un pequeño balneario municipal que consta de tres piscinas con tobogán y juegos acuáticos, el cual tiene la particularidad de ser alimentado por nacimientos de agua caliente que bajan de la montaña, en donde el turista podrá refrescarse.

Para llegar a este lugar se debe tomar la CA-09 Norte, en dirección hacia el Atlántico o Puerto Barrios. Aproximadamente en el kilómetro 45 se encontrará el desvío hacia Sanarate y hacia Jalapa, del lado derecho, se debe seguir en dirección hacia la cabecera departamental, que es Jalapa y ubicar la RN-18, en donde se encontrará en el kilómetro 123 el ingreso al balneario.
